TimberSeal obtains the
Wolman Specialist Status. The only contractor in the
Midwest holding this status to date!
Wolman Certified Contractor A Wolman Certified
Contractor is the first level in the Wolman Contractor Program.
To achieve this rank, a contractor has to complete the Wolman
Certified Contractor Program which includes an examination. The
program instructed the contractor on many aspects in the wood
restoration business such as the damaging effects of weather
exposure, the steps required to restore and protect wood, and
methods to successfully develop their exterior wood care
business. To earn the certification level, each contractor must
achieve at least an 85% on the examination.
Wolman Specialist Contractor A Wolman Specialist
Contractor is the second level in the Wolman Contractor Program.
To achieve this rank, a contractor has to first complete the
Wolman Certified Contractor Program and be active in this level
for three years and pass another examination. The examination is
an aptitude test based not on any manual, but instead, based on
the knowledge they have acquired while being a Wolman Certified
Contractor. To earn the specialist level, each contractor must
achieve at least a 90% on the examination.
