Started in 1996 with our home office in Valparaiso, Indiana, TIMBERSEAL INC was born to fill a market need so often forgotten in the exterior wood care industry. Our business was found on the principals of quality, pride and trust. We have been servicing the great lakes region for over 29 years now providing exceptional service, an amazing product all at a fair and reasonable price to our clients. TIMBERSEAL INC SPECIALIZES in the restoration and refinishing of exterior decks, docks, fencing, cedar siding, log homes and other exterior wood structures. Greg Rentschler
Founder, CEO and world traveler?
Greg, a long time Valparaiso resident, started TimberSeal Inc in 1996 after being involved in motorcyle racing growing up. That may seem like a bit of a reach to understand, but pressure washing was something Greg was pretty used to doing. After every race his bike needed cleaned and keeping his bike and other toys clean was something he took pride in. His love for pressure washing grew and led to power washing jobs in the afternoon and weekends washing houses, decks and concrete driveways. In turn this grew and turned into TimberSeal Inc in 1996. In his off time, Gregs loves are his significant other Cortney, their combined five kiddos and traveling the world to seeking new and exciting adventures! He still has a love for motorcycles too and one of his favorite trips was to Sturgis on his Harley in 2022.
Tracey
Office Manager & TimberSeal Office Mom
Tracey joined the TimberSeal team in 2017 filling the role of senior office manager, TimberSeal mom and moral manager! Tracey manages all of the office needs including inbound phones, billing, scheduling and work flow day in and day out in the TimberSeal office and absolutely LOVES her customers!
Traceys loves are her husband Bob, her 3 amazing girls and her herd of grandkids! And lets not forget…. her customers! Seriousely… 🙂
Michele
Customer Service & Project Estimator
Michele joined the TimberSeal team in 2021 and is our in-office Project Estimator and Customer Service Rep! Michele has a talent for figuring sh*t out and keeping technology moving in the TimberSeal office! Her skill set brings her the ability to handle all of your questions about your staining and sealing projects, billing and scheduling however her primary role is in bidding and estimating all of your projects you call us about!
Micheles loves are her husband Kris, her wonderful kids and her dog Charlie! Michele is an amazing cook and loves to bake in her off time!
Austyn
Sales Rep and
Onsite Estimator
Austyn joined the TimberSeal team in 2019 as our Onsite Estimator and Sales Representaive! Austyn is one of the first faces you’ll generally see in person here at TimberSeal as she is the one responsible for stopping by an acquiring the measurements, photos and provest overview of your projects. In addition she provides a folder full of goodies covering all the services we provided in addition to color charts and more!
In her time off Austyn enjoys her two Chow Chows (Solis & Luna) and she runs her own amazing treat business Austyn & Allies Sweets and Treats!
Our Crews
Our crews are the foundation of TimberSeal! Without their hard work, attention to detail and exceptional customer service on the job site, we would be where we are today. Our crews in total have stripped, restored, sealed and maintained well over 10 Million sq foot of decking, railing, fencing, cedar siding and other wood structures. 10 MILLION! Thats like sealing the entire Amazon rain forest! Ok… maybe not that big but you get the picture. Bottom line is, without exceptional crews there’s no exceptional service and without exceptional service theres no exceptional customers. Without exceptional customers there’s no TimberSeal!
